Volunteer and Internship Opportunities Requirements
To ensure the effectiveness of our volunteers and interns, we ask that all participants meet the following criteria:
You must be able to contribute a minimum of 21 hours per month, or 250 hours per year. This ensures that we can maintain consistency in our programs and make the most of your time with us.

Volunteer & Internship Requirements for ongoing opportunity
- Commitment: Volunteers and interns must commit to a minimum of 21 hours per month or 250 hours per year.
- Profile: UAA must have your profile on file, which includes your ID, résumé, and a picture.
- Public Recognition: Your biography and title will be posted on our website (www.uaa-foundation.org), and your name may occasionally be mentioned at UAA events.
Certificates: Volunteers will receive a Certificate of Completion every 6 months, and a UAA V-Champion Certificate for one-year internships or volunteering periods.
Volunteer & Internship Duration Options
Please indicate how long you plan to volunteer or intern with us:
- One-time Volunteering (Event Only) – You will receive a Recognition Notice with the time spent.
- Three-month Volunteering or Internship – You will receive a Letter of Accomplishment.
- Six-month Volunteering or Internship – You will receive a Certificate of Accomplishment.
- One-year Volunteering or Internship – You will receive a UAA-V-Champion Certificate.
- Ongoing Volunteering or Internship (Over a year) – You will receive a UAA-V-Champion Certificate.
